OSU senior, Dave Smith extended his scoring streak last night to 20 games, the
longest in the CCHA. As usual, he got in a couple of nice, behind the play
jabs. One in particular: A Laker had fallen to the ice as Smith came up behind
him. Smith looked down and just shoved his stick blade into the guy's ribs.
Nice attitude.

Also, late in the third period, Graff took an LSSU player off for a regular
2:00 minor, and he took a Buckeye off for a double-minor. There was only one
minute left to play, so, Graff had two Buckeyes sit down thus giving the Lakers
a power-play. This seems fair, but then again, that second Buckeye didn't do
anything. Is this a normal practice. (Get out your rule book all of you out
there who have one.)
