From Sid Hartman's column in the Star Tribune this morning (1/17/92):
 
 Former Gophers goalie Robb Stauber will not return to the U.S. Olympic Team
 and will remain with the Phoenix organization in the WHL.  Also former Gopher
 defenseman Tom Pederson was cut from Team USA yesterday.
 
 Well so much for rooting on former Gophers in Albertville. :-(
