I think I've only heard of this once, at the Hartford Civic Center when the
crack Civic Center security staff hauled off the scofflaws to the Civic
Center jail.

Never had a problem anywhere else I've been. It's not that common to see
hats on the ice at RIT. Either people like their hats or can't follow the
action too closely. :-)

And then there was Amerks painter's hat night at the War Memorial when
Ken Priestlay scored a hat trick. The refs had to end the period two
minutes early and tack it onto the third period to give the crew a chance
to scoop up the hats.

Rob (who's not too pleased with the RIT Tigers, or the Temple Owls, or the
St. Joe's Hawks or a lot of other teams right now)
