It would be super for college hockey if a school with the prestige
of Ohio State could move to the forefront and compete on a level with
Big Ten counterparts Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin and
Minnesota.  I'm sure that building a better facility would assist in
that effort (after all, the hockey rink at OSU sits next to two great
facilities in Ohio Stadium and St. John Arena), but I don't know the
situation at OSU well enough to speculate as to why this has not
happened.
