A sweep for the Wildcats would vault them into first place in the WCHA, with Minnesota in Anchorage for non-conference action. Northern Michigan is led by the nation's top two scorers in senior center Scott Beattie (10-18-28) and junior winger Jim Hiller (9-16- 25), and godsend freshman goalie Corwin Saurdiff (5-1-0, 2.46 GAA, .914 saves percentage).
