Hello hockey fans- Today, Dartmouth named Roger Demment as their new head coach for men's hockey. Roger was an assistant coach under Ben Smith, did most of the (very successful) recruiting last year for Dartmouth, and is very well liked by the players. He will provide a continuity of the positive attitude developed last season. He is sensitive to the issue of stability in the Dartmouth hockey program (or lack thereof) and has made it clear he doesn't intend to go anywhere. According to the local paper he said "I've had the opportunity to go to other college situations in the past, but I didn't because of the school, the hockey program or the setting. "I like the setting in Hanover and I like Dartmouth College. My family has made the transition and likes the area. My wife just got a job here and we're looking forward to spending a lot of time here."
