We should perhaps feel a little sorry for the poor Tigers, as this is not
the first time they've had a top-notch goaltender disappear on them.  Back
in the mid '60s, Ken Dryden was actually all set to go to Princeton, sight
unseen, before then-Cornell coach Ned Harkness and the recruiters convinced
him to join the Big Red.  Now THERE'S a "what-if" scenario for you...
