Dartmouth would be wise to give this man the job. I know Roger and he will make an excellent head coach at the college level. He coached my son for two years at St. Mark's School in Southborough Mass. and I got to know him quite well. He is extremely dedicated, knowledgeable and has more than sufficient experience. His approach is usually low-key but always effective. He is just the type of coach Dartmouth seems to need as he would provide the stability their program presently lacks. Ask the players about him. Ask any of his former players about him. In addition, his background in sports physiology give him a tremendous insight into player conditioning and health. My personal opinion as to the positive attitude of the Dartmouth players after a dismal season is that credit is due in large part to Roger's efforts (not to take anything away from Ben). To lose him would be a real mistake for their program. If for some reason, Roger does not get the job, my next choice would be Bill Matthews. Bill is currently the head coach at St. Pauls School in Concord N.H. Another well-respected, very knowledgeable, and effective coach. I don't know if he is even being considered, but maybe Jaeger should think about giving him a call :'). /walt
