The following report comes from the April 10th edition of The Boston Herald.

"Boston University sophomore defenseman Peter Ahola reached an agreement with
the Los Angeles Kings on a free agent contract pending approval of the league.
Ahola, from Espoo, Finland, earned second-team All America status this season,
as the Terriers reached the NCAA championship game before losing to Northern
Michigan, 8-7, in triple overtime. Ahola becomes the second Terrier to leave
since the season ended less than two weeks ago. Sophomore right wing Tony
Amonte signed a three year contract, with an option year, worth more than 1
million dollars to play for the New York Rangers."
