All right, some people have told me they never received my April Fool's
posting and they wanted to see it, so here it is. I want you to know
I spent a lot of time on it getting it to work out just right, and then
the mail never got out. Next year you'll all know, so it won't be
worth it. Anyway, here it is. For the clue that it is a hoax, read
down the left side. Sorry for plagiarizing Sports Illustrated on the
method. I thought I might have tricked some people if I got it out
    early enough...but no. (sigh)

Subject: NCAA to strip NMU of national championship??

At this time, my inside connections have just informed me that due to drug tests
prior to Northern Michigan's 8-7 triple overtime win Saturday night, the NCAA
royalty have been secretly meeting to consider stripping Northern Michigan of
its title and awarding BU a forfeit win. One or more Wildcat players, supposed-
ly, tested positive for an unknown substance banned by the NCAA. This was NMU's
first DivI hockey championship, and now it looks as if the Wildcats may lose it
off the playing field. I'm shocked that any player competing for a championship
once you reach this point, would even think of taking an illegal substance,
let it be cocaine or even something over-the-counter. Players know the rules,
so there is no excuse whatsoever. More coming as this incredible story develops.
