The PREMIERE EVENT of the year in Minnesota is the Minnesota State High
School Hockey Tournament. This event has always been scheduled the weekend
before the WCHA tourney. The High School tourney runs Thursday thru Saturday.
Most college hockey fans would prefer a Saturday-Sunday or Friday-Saturday
tourney schedule too! This scheduling problem has occured for the last four
years and never have the seedings been released earlier than immediately
after the completion of the final WCHA game. I would assume that each school
that was seeded would receive a phone call at that time letting them know of
their good fortune and not have to wait until Tuesday for the news. If it
 isn't broke DON'T FIX IT!!!!!!
