A special note to all ECAC AD's and referees was intercepted here at Clarkson. It is in regard to the manner in which the referees are to officiate the remaining games. The ECAC Executive Board felt that they were taking too much flack from those people who subscribe to the College Hockey Network. I guess that they are out there listening. They feel that most of the criticism is unwarranted and biased. However, they are addressing the problem. They have sent a letter out that quotes rules from the Mudgeeraba Creek Emu-Riding and Boomerang-Throwing Association. These rules are to be applied to ECAC hockey, quadruple mailings to Refs Malinosky and P. Belanger.: Decisions of the judges will be final unless shouted down by a really overwhelming majority of the crowd present. Abusive and obscene language may not be used by contestants when addressing members of the judging panel, or, conversely, by members of the judging panel when addressing contestants (unless struck by a boomerang (puck, stick,...)). So all fans take note at the games this weekend. Mike Zak Clarkson '87, '90,... (Fall '91 ?! )
