The CCHA voted unanimously at yesterday's NCAA convention to admit
Kent State to league play starting in the 1992-93 season.

Kent State paid the highest admission fee EVER for a Division I hockey
team to join a league - $100,000.

The CCHA will restructure their playoff format and their round-robin
scheduling once Kent comes into the league.

(Strong possibilities for a two-division set-up exist, with Ohio State,
Miami, Bowling Green, and Kent forming the heart of one division.)
