Here are some notes on the ECAC taken from todays (12/7) Post Standard from Syracuse, NY. Scoring Leaders (Note how far Down Juneau is and the number of players with more than 2.86 ppg.) GP G A Pts. About Faust, yes, I see that he's from Princeton. I listened to the game on the radio and that's what I thought I heard. Also, thanks to EVERYONE on the list for explaining where the "Yale Whale" comes from. I've been to New Haven but have never seen the rink. Goaltending leaders Rec. Player of the Week: Ted Donato, Har. 13 pts. in 3 games, including 3 goals vs. Dartmouth. Rookie of the Week: Mike Allain, SLU. Scored the game winning goal in SLU's OT victory over Clarkson. Not much was resolved Friday when the ECAC met to discuss the departure of Army. There is a desire to keep the league at 12 teams. The league is not actively pursuing any schools but some names have been brought up for discussion. (no names were mentioned) They would like to have the situation resolved by January.
