CONTEST Pick the Tourneys Entry Form (part 1)
The contest deadline for part 1 is 6:00 PM EST Friday, March 8th.
This form includes only the ECAC, CCHA, Atlantic Hockey, and Big Ten.
Hockey East and the NCHC begin their tournaments next week.
Fill in your predicted winners for each first round/quarterfinal game or
series. For the quarterfinals, fill in the road team you predict will be
playing each game or series (as needed). For a series, fill in the number
of games (2 or 3) you expect to be played in the series.
For the Atlantic Hockey semifinals, fill in the teams you predict will be
playing, your predicted winners, and the number of games (2 or 3) you expect
to be played in the series.
For the other semifinals and championships, fill in the teams you predict
will be playing as well as your predicted winners. MAKE SURE YOUR SEEDINGS/
MATCHUPS ARE CORRECT! The ECAC and Atlantic Hockey reseed twice, before the
quarterfinals and before the semis. The CCHA and the Big Ten reseed before
the semis. Impossible matchups will be given zero points, unless I can get a
correction from you before the deadline.
Don't forget to fill in the tiebreakers! Tiebreaker #1 is your predicted
score in the championship game; tiebreaker #2 is your predicted total goals
scored in that league's entire tournament. (Note: for Atlantic Hockey, do
not include the scores of the first-round games
If you don't want to do predictions for one or more tournaments, just leave
it/them blank.
