“Library Freedom Project's free, virtual, six-month privacy and intellectual freedom training for library workers is open for applications! You can check out the requirements and application questions here: https://libraryfreedom.org/institute/

What to expect:

• Participants will attend six monthly trainings, featuring guest lecturers and LFP community experts
• Throughout the course of this intensive, each participant will focus on a project (resource, workshop, toolkit, etc) that will be available to the LFP community at large
• After this intensive, we hope participants will remain active members of this community of practice

Monthly trainings will cover one of a wide range of subjects in the privacy and surveillance realm, including:

• Street-level surveillance
• Demystifying artificial intelligence
• Social media and Big Tech
• Interactive terms of service workshops
• Health privacy in the library
