THE SOUTHWORTH PLANETARIUM
"Officially listed as one of the wonders of the ancient world."

TWO MONTHS!
The spectacular total solar eclipse -Maine's first since July 1963- will happen almost exactly two months from this very moment!    The Second Great American Eclipse, visible along a totality path stretching from the sultry South Pacific to the icy wilds of the North Atlantic, will shake the world's foundational pillars on April 8th.         With millions of souls planning to congregate along the totality path, this eclipse is expected to be the most viewed solar eclipse in world history.  We want YOU to join this teeming throng of fanatical eclipse admirers.

First, of course, you need eye protection: in other words, eclipse glasses.

And, we at the Southworth Planetarium are selling these glasses for $2.00 a pair!

Last fall we offered to send glasses with a 30-day invoice enclosed and I'm glad to say that the arrangement worked out splendidly.     Consequently, we're posting the offer again.     Receive the glasses straight away and pay later.
[Note: If you send cash please enclose the invoice or at least write your name somewhere.]

If you want glasses, just send a reply with your name and address.       Shipping cost is still $1.00 for 10 or fewer; $2.00 for 11 or more.

We will waive the shipping if you give us your campus address.

Thank you and, as always, happy viewing!!

Edward

"If we're sufficiently sceptical and empirical about anything (whether a star or a baby or a plastic cup), we'll see that it's baffling, mysterious, thrillingly weird and defies all of our categories - requiring a poetical and a mathematical and an emotional and a physical response."
-Charles Foster, author of Being a Human
