FastFile service provides three options to file your Maine State and/or Federal taxes

Maine – if you qualify, this company will help do your taxes for free!
- AARP
Foundation Tax-Aide provides tax assistance to anyone, free of charge, with a special focus on taxpayers who are over 50 or have low to moderate income.
- Free File, all taxpayers who made $62,000 or less can visit MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "sg05url.maine.gov" claiming to be www.IRS.gov/freefile to
prepare and e-file their federal tax returns at no cost.
- IRS
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and the Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programs offer free tax help for taxpayers who qualify
