Good day! Please excuse cross-postings:
Every Friday I receive an email blast from John Wagner at Maine Department of Labor with tons of great information around hiring, training, and other events around the state. If anyone would like
me to forward the full email with attachments, please let me know.
This week a couple of things in particular caught my eye that I want to share with you all. One comprises some support links and resources for workers and/or patrons for mental health and wellness
awareness. The other comprises resources for inventors who might be seeking information from your library to further their own work:
“…Focusing
attention on the importance of cultivating and maintaining mental wellness can provide fresh new ideas about how we can do that. It’s a time to
bring awareness to mental health disorders, break the stigma, and encourage anyone to seek help.
Help is available! If in crisis call or text 988 or chat MailScanner has detected a possible fraud attempt from "sg05url.maine.gov" claiming to be 988lifeline.org for
themselves or if they are worried about a loved one who may need crisis support.
StrengthenME has more wellness resources should you be interested.
In the spirit of sharing; I had a question posed to me about whether there is assistance in Maine
for inventors. Learned something new! Yes, there is, and quite a bit. Here are the top:
Respectfully shared,
Lisa
