Hello,

We are currently working on communications with to spread the word and its ramifications.

We’ll start with an update to our Tuesday Tips tomorrow (which we sent out just hours ahead of the announcement ☹) and will be sending emails to all our school and access partners as well as the students and families for whom we have email address. We’ll also text those in our texting group and provide additional information in our Facebook parent group. An update to our website and on regular SM will be coming soon as well.

Please let us know what we can do to support you and your students.

Thank you,
Mila

Folks -

Did any of you receive this very helpful email<https://nasfaa.informz.net/informzdataservice/onlineversion/ind/bWFpbGluZ2luc3RhbmNlaWQ9MTE0MDMxMDQmc3Vic2NyaWJlcmlkPTExODMxNTEyMzQ=> from NASFAA? It explains a major reason why the results are being delayed, and some suggestions on how the Feds and colleges might respond.

Hi all-
Sharing some additional not-so-great news about FAFSA timelines. https://www.nasfaa.org/dear_students_colleges_are_not_receiving_your_fafsa_information Thank you to Nicole Cloud for sharing this with me yesterday!

I'm sure this is incredibly stressful for our colleagues in financial aid, as well as for our students whose financial aid awards will be even more delayed than we anticipated. Does anyone know if colleges are starting to consider moving May 1 deadlines to a later date?

Best,
Ginny
Dear Students: Colleges Are Not Receiving Your FAFSA Information<https://www.nasfaa.org/dear_students_colleges_are_not_receiving_your_fafsa_information>
Today, the White House and U.S. Department of Education officially announced that institutions will not receive FAFSA applicant information until the first half of March, further delaying an already sluggish process.
