Joy Worland of the Vermont Public Library recently hosted a talk on providing library resources for non-English speaking patrons. She obtained permission for me to share out their resource page for non-English versions of the document “What Is a Public Library?” This link has the original English version as well as editable versions in many other languages, including Somali. When I went through one version, the only thing I needed to change was the name of the state. You also have the option to add to the Vermont/IMLS logo at the bottom of the document if you wish. Please do leave in the IMLS logo, as this was a project funded by them.
