Thank you Karen. I just paid for the program membership. I really thank you for the information as it saved me a hefty explanation in the future.

Hi Susan,
If you get money from your institution you can pay for individual memberships.  You can't use your federal grant funds for that.

Hi, Susan.
MEEOA program membership is an allowable cost, individual memberships aren't because they are non-transferrable (vs. NEOA). But without the individual memberships, you have to pay the full conference rate when the time comes.

All three are key to MEEOA's bottom line.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

My name is Susan Dubay and I am the Director of Student Support Services at UMFK. Would someone mind talking me through the differences between program and individual? I have three staff and myself.

Thank you so much.

Hello MEEOA,

My name is Kathryn Bosse and I will be taking over for Kate as the new Membership Chair for 2023-2024.  I work at the University of Maine at Presque Isle under both Upward Bound and Talent Search grants.  I'm so excited to work with all of you in this new capacity.

As you know, it's Fall!  Time to enroll/renew your MEEOA Membership (Individual and Program) for the new year!

Please access the links below to learn more about the benefits and details of MEEOA membership, and let us know you'd like to be a member.  If you have new colleagues in your program this year, please, please, share this email.  It's an opportunity for them to learn more about our Association and join this list-serv, on which we rely to share information about upcoming events and reach out to colleagues on time sensitive issues.
The link to the membership page: https://www.meeoa.org/membership.php?id=4
The link to the join or renewal process: https://www.meeoa.org/join_meeoa_info.php?id=4

Enrolling/renewing generates an invoice that you can use to make your $25 individual (or $75 program) membership payment, or you can click the yellow "PayPal" linke.  If your membership name is different from your payment name, please let me know ([log in to unmask])!

Each person can have an individual membership.  Each separate TRIO Grant, even if one office runs more than one grant, is asked to have a Program Membership.

Important NOTE: If you're generating an electronic payment through the University of Maine System for your MEEOA (or NEOA) payments, please refer to the attached document, "Purchase Orders for MEEOA and NEOA for UMS." Following these steps will help us greatly in crediting you electronic payment to the right invoice!  If someone has fine-tuned electronic payments for the Maine Community College System, we'd be thrilled to have you share those steps with your colleagues.

Please let me know if you have any questions, and I look forward to seeing you at this year's MEEOA Conference!

Kathryn
