Hello All, As introduced at yesterday's statewide meeting with Marijke, MSL will be offering two grants https://www.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/ARPA.shtml for libraries to support teleworkers and home-based entrepreneurs, especially those from rural areas and underserved populations. For libraries intending to apply for a Large Project Grant ($25,000- $100,000), you must submit a project proposal called an LOI (Letter of Intent) form by March 31. That form is now live in the grant system. When you login to your library's account at https://www.grantinterface.com/Home/Logon?urlkey=MSL and click on "Apply," you'll see a link for the Remote Work through Libraries Large Project Grant LOI form. If your library/org needs to add a new contact to work on your form, e-mail me to add that person to the system. I strongly recommend that libraries planning to submit an LOI attend one of two sessions Lisa Shaw, Marijke Visser, and myself will present on February 28 at 2 PM or March 1 at 5:30 PM. You may register for these at the MSL calendar: TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 28 2:oo -3:00 PM Register: https://maine-msl.libcal.com/event/10327446 WEDNESDAY, MARCH 1 5:30-6:30 PM Register: https://maine-msl.libcal.com/event/10327452 ****Libraries wanting to apply for the Small Project Grant ($5,000- $24,999) will see that application go live in the system on April 17. Let me know if I can be of assistance as you navigate the grant process. Deb Deborah A.
