Let's bring this opportunity to support math in libraries to Maine!! A grant-funded project at East Tennessee State University, called "Libraries Count" is *looking for Maine participants* to help co-develop a professional learning program for library staff to *support young children and their families in math.* Specifically, - 1 librarian - 1 parent with child/ren aged 2-5 - 1 other participant (could be anybody). If you, your colleagues, or patrons are interested, the commitment is to join bimonthly Zoom meetings (1-2 hours each) for 1-3 years. Members of the group don't have to have a background in math and will be paid a stipend for participating. *The first meeting is this week (8th of December from 3:15 - 5:15 pm ET)*, but if you can't make it to the first meeting, you are still welcome to join. Please let me know if you are interested and I will get you the registration information. I am an advisor to the project, so don't hesitate to reach out. If I can't answer questions, I can point you to those who can!
