listen that libraries are critical community resources?

If so, please consider joining MLA's Communication Committee! We are
looking for a committee chair and also for committee members.

As Chair, you would work with the MLA Executive Board to determine
strategic communication goals and also spearhead the communication
committee's work.

As a committee member, you would work with MLA Communication Chair to help
promote MLA programs and resources via our website, social media,
newsletter, etc.

Be part of the team letting Maine librarians know about library trends and
professional development activities; share MLA goals and accomplishments
with MLA members; and spread the word to communities and stakeholders about
the awesome work Maine libraries are doing!

You will have the opportunity to build a state-wide network of library
colleagues through MLA. And it looks great on your resume! Please note you
must be an MLA member to join a committee.
