Hello All, Applications are now being accepted for Fall 2022 Maine Public Library Fund Grants. If your library has not received an MPLF grant in the last 2 years and is in good standing as a Maine Regional Library System (MRLS) member, your library may apply for an innovative program grant of up to $5000. See what the grant may and may not be used for at https://www1.maine.gov/msl/libs/admin/funding/MPLF.shtml . The link to the application form is there as well. We will be using the grant system used to process the ARPA Grants so have your library's e-mail and password handy to login. Just go to your library's account and click "Apply" at the top of the screen and you should see an option to apply for the "Maine Public Library Fund Grants 2022 Fall."

Applications close Friday, November 18 at 5 PM.

MPLF Grants are perfect for those new programs you want to pilot. This cycle, preference is being given to DEI outreach (diversity equity inclusion) and environmental sustainability programming. MPLF Grants will help you get started and help your library make a positive impact in your community.

I am available to consult with anyone developing an idea for a new or expanded library service they might want to propose for MPLF funding. I look forward to reviewing applications from our creative Maine libraries.
