Good Afternoon,

I would like to invite you to attend MEEOA's Spring In-person Professional
Development Day <https://www.meeoa.org/professional_development.php?id=12>.

Our theme for the day will be, "Be Our Guest: Creating a Magical Student
Experience"
We have some truly great professional development learning opportunities
and activities planned. This training is for all TRIO staff including
administrative specialists/assistants.

The description is as follows, *Higher Education in the United States is
becoming more competitive as the number of traditional-age college students
is declining. In order to be successful we need to not only expand our pool
of potential applicants, we also need to implement programs and strategies
that will increase retention. Developing opportunities to positively impact
and shape TRIO Students' Experiences will help to ensure your success.
Creating an experience that is unique, meaningful, and even Magical, will
result in higher rates of student satisfaction and increase retention.
Together we will explore the approaches and techniques used by industry
leaders which will guide the creation of a service strategy that focuses on
the student and their having an amazing experience every time they interact
with you.*
