From Maine Public Health: In light of recent challenges related to finding COVID-19 vaccinations, the Maine CDC, in coordination with the Maine Emergency Management Agency and the Maine National Guard, are launching a new, community COVID-19 vaccination clinic at the Augusta Armory this week. The clinic will operate through at least the end of 2021, offering free first, second, booster, and pediatric doses of the Pfizer vaccine, as well as primary and booster doses of the Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines. No appointments are needed as the clinic will operate on a convenient, walk-in basis. This week’s hours of operation for the Augusta Armory location at 179 Western Avenue will be as follows: * Tuesday: 9am – 4pm * Wednesday: 9am – 4pm * Thursday: noon – 7pm * Saturday: 9am – 4pm Clinic dates and times are subject to change throughout the month, according to demand.
