Hi Adinah, I have a plug-in Toyota and I plan to bring it directly to the dealership because I don't want to compromise the warranty, and because my normal mechanic cannot work on it due to the battery and how advanced the computer technology is. Like David said, I think the dealership is going to be the best place most of the time. I hope that some of the smaller mechanics can find a way to get into the business of working on these; hopefully that will happen over time. I just don't personally know of any that are doing it now.Good luck! Are you specifically looking for a "Plug-In Hybrid"?I believe there are a few people that are in this group that own Toyota PHEVs, a Prius Prime, and a Rav4 Prime.I take my Bolt directly to the Chevy Dealership (Pape in South Portland) as they have the most skilled and knowledgeable mechanics for my car.For a PHEV or BEV, I think your best bet is going to be the dealership. Unfortunately, that's probably the more expensive option as well. When I owned a Prius (non plug-in) and a Corolla, I had a good experience at Berlin City Toyota.Thank you,David M.
