We are looking for an organized, analytical, and customer-service oriented professional with an administrative background and skills to join our team! The primary purpose of the Administrative Specialist is to support the operation of the TRIO Pre-College and College programs by providing administrative and clerical support to the TRIO team on USM’s Gorham campus (some travel to the Portland campus may be required). The Administrative Specialist utilizes procedural knowledge and organizational skills to perform administrative and clerical tasks requiring confidentiality, attention to detail, and accuracy. The Specialist plays a significant role responding to outside inquiries from veterans, students, parents, USM faculty and staff, and community partners and must have strong listening, oral and written communication skills. The Specialist must have excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, and the willingness to undertake non-routine administrative tasks in support of staff and programs.
