I just wanted to remind everyone that if you are working on the TRIO Votes challenge through COE and have students who will be registering to vote, if they missed the deadline for mail-in registration being received today, they still have until the day of the election (November 3) to register in-person.

Other important deadlines are listed below:

Absentee ballot deadlines
Request: Received by Oct. 29
Return by mail: Received by Nov. 3 by 8:00 p.m.
Return in person: Nov. 3 by 8:00 p.m.

Early voting
Oct. 5 - Oct. 30, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live

Another useful tool is the Maine Absentee Ballot Tracking website that will help you, help your student ensure their ballot is either on its way or has already been accepted at their polling location!
