This outage is resolved. The cause was a problem with our fiber point of presence in Newcastle, which caused directly connected sites to lose connectivity, including DMC. Additionally, this triggered a secondary issue where the redundant fiber path for UMM and other downeast sites did not fail over as designed. The failover issue is still under investigation by engineers.
