*What is happening?* On Sunday, May 3, 2020, from 6 a.m. - 7 a.m., US:IT Staff will be performing a non-disruptive upgrade of the application load balancer environment supporting multiple enterprise services. The major enterprise web services utilizing the enterprise services load balancer are: - UMS Single Sign-On - MaineStreet - MyCampus Portal *Due to the redundancy in the load balancer environment, no service outages are expected during this maintenance.* *Why is this work necessary?* After our successful transition to new hardware on April 22nd, the vendor recommends that we upgrade software to receive security fixes and performance improvements. *What happens if this work is unsuccessful?* If any issues occur during this maintenance process, we will return to the configuration in place before the maintenance and work with the vendor to diagnose and resolve the issue.
