*What is happening?* On Monday, March 16, 2020, from 9:30 p.m. - 10 p.m., US:IT Staff will be performing maintenance on a portion of the UMS Single Sign-On system. The actual downtime during the maintenance window is expected to be less than 5 minutes, with the remainder of the time being reserved for testing and verification of the change. During this work, there may be issues logging into Box, Zoom, and other SAML or InCommon services. Access from MyCampus Portal to Mainestreet will be impaired. *Users needing to access MaineStreet should navigate directly to the MaineStreet login page. * This maintenance work will not impact access to Blackboard, GMail, or other services using the CAS protocol for single sign-on.. Existing sessions to applications should not be disrupted. If you receive an error message, you should wait a few minutes and try your request again. *Why is it necessary?* A disruptive configuration change is required for continued troubleshooting of the ongoing Single Sign-On Issues between the MyCampus portal and MaineStreet. Given the severity of the disruption caused by the Single Sign-On issue, we are implementing this change at the first opportunity outside of the extended business day. If you experience any issues with the UMS Single Sign-On system after this maintenance, please contact IT Support Services at 800.696.4357, via the Service Desk web form, or by email: [log in to unmask] Steve. -- Steven Premeau, Director of Enterprise Systems Architecture & Administration University Services: Information Technology University of Maine System | (207) 581-5836 (desk) | (207) 944-9391 (mobile)
