Hello Maine GeoLibrary Data Catalog Consumers,

Announcement:
The Maine Office of GIS has been working to improve the usability of the Maine GeoLibrary Data Discovery and Download Applications for Elevation and Imagery data. In response to user feedback, the Maine Office of GIS has implemented the following changes, which will take effect on Friday, February 21, 2020:

Elevation and imagery raster data will no longer be displayed in the applications during the search process. Previously, the display appeared to limit the data available when in fact all elevation and imagery raster data from the GeoLibrary was accessible for download.
The tile index services for elevation and imagery data will be available in each application.
The "Identify" tool will be available to query the tile indexes in each application.

Please note that these discovery applications are only intended for downloading raster data tiles and are not intended for data visualization. The Maine Office of GIS is creating web maps to use for visualization purposes. The first, Maine Regional Orthoimagery Web Map, is now available in the Maine GeoLibrary Data Catalog.
