There are many reasons why your Form 471 may change after certification, such as the processing of Receipt Acknowledgment Letter (RAL) modifications, changes made during PIA reviews or Form 486 reviews, as well as appeals, SPIN changes, service substitutions, and other post-commitment actions.

EPC now offers the ability to download a PDF copy of your Form 471 after such changes. The original form as it was upon certification will always remain available and unchanged.

A couple of notes:

• The option to download a current version of a form will only be available once that form is included in a funding commitment wave.
• This is only available for FY2019 and later.
• You can generate as many different current versions as you like.
• Additional changes to your form do not update the existing current PDF automatically. You will have to update the PDF after each change.
• Previous current versions are not stored in EPC. The only way to preserve individual changes is to download and save the various iterations of the PDF.
• It is also perfectly fine to wait to update your PDF until multiple changes process. This procedure is designed to give you a record in PDF format of all changes to your form to date. Whether or not you choose to ever save a PDF copy of your form, your changes would still be implemented in EPC. You do not need to worry about capturing a separate PDF for each change unless you want to track the differences.
• The current version link will time out after two months. To get another PDF, you will simply need to generate a new current version.
