Great description Tom. I thought that UMass would be a little tougher to
beat.
Perhaps the suspension of one of their top scorers hurt them more than they
thought.
And there was the distraction of Makar winning the Hobey as well.  All of
these factors
factored in whether or not people thought they wouldn't.  Duluth was on a
mission, and
they brought it forward and made it so.

 I know I am a Gophers fan, but you have to just love those Bulldogs and
they way
they play. It would be great to see them take on Penn State. Penn State was
the Gophers Kryptonite this year.

Gophers lost 11 players, 9 were seniors, 2 left for the pros. I hope we can
be competitive next season.
