In this day and age, ESPN3 is not really a deal killer. Access comes with most of your cable providers. And for folks like me using an over-the-top service (YouTubeTV, DirectTVNow, etc.) it’s pretty much no different than “actual” TV. And since, as a Californian, there’s no way in hell my local sports channels would pick up the games, ESPN3 is actually a preferred solution.
