The Eligible Services List (ESL) for Funding Year 2019 has been released (see attached).

This list specifies the products and services that are eligible for E-Rate in FY2019. Note that Voice Services are no longer eligible.

The last day to file an FY2019 Form 470 is 28 days before the closing of the yet to be announced FY2019 Form 471 filing window dates. What we do know is that given the timing of the release of the ESL it is likely that the FY2019 Form 471 filing window will open no earlier than January 15, 2019. Nevertheless, you do not want to wait until the last minute - I would suggest filing your Form 470 sooner rather than later. 

Remember that entities that apply for any E-Rate not arranged through Networkmaine must file a Form 470 if they have an expiring contract or want to request E-Rate for new products or services for FY2019 (July 1, 2019 - June 30, 2020). If the only manner in which you participate in the E-Rate program is through the Internet and transport services arranged by Networkmaine, then a Form 470 is not necessary.

Due to the uncertainties of what FY2020 Category 2 budgets will look like, if you have a school with any C2 budget remaining I would advocate spending it all in FY2019.
