Adobe recently announced changes to the K-12 Device licensing. Device licenses will be phased out and a new Shared Device License will be available starting in Feb. 2019. The current Device licenses are still available but will not be able to be upgraded to latest versions until you migrate to the shared device licensing next year. This means you can only install and run Adobe CC 2017 with device licensing and not be able to update or upgrade until the new shared device licenses become available.

The new Shared Device licenses will not be available until Feb. 2019.  There will be a webinar on Tues., Dec. 11th at 1:00 PM EST to go over changes around Adobe licensing for K12 schools.  Information and registration link is included below.

Adobe Creative Cloud Licensing for Labs: Migration Workshop
In October, Adobe released a new, robust, and more secure licensing platform that will deliver all future Creative Cloud apps and services to customers. This has enabled us to also create an improved experience for users accessing our products in shared device environments (e.g., labs, classrooms) that will be available in Q1 2019.

Join this free webinar to learn about how the new offering works, benefits for your students, and resources to help you plan, deploy, and manage Shared Device Licensing at your institution.
