*You’re invited to the * *Maine Sea Grant Biennial Research Symposium* *at the Buchanan Alumni House at the University of Maine* *Friday, April 20, from 1 pm to 5 pm * This year’s theme is *Informing State of Maine Resource Assessment and Management.* New investigators funded in 2018 will discuss the goals and objectives of their Sea Grant projects, and how their findings might be used by resource managers. After a short break, Sea Grant researchers who are completing recent projects and their state agency partners will present (briefly) their outcomes as they relate to resource assessment and management at the state level, followed by a moderated panel discussion with questions from the audience. A seafood reception and poster session featuring student research will close the day. The Maine Sea Grant Biennial Research Symposium serves as a forum for new and seasoned Sea Grant investigators and students to share their research plans and outcomes, receive input from the community, and plan collaborative outreach activiti es.
