Blue Marble has just announced its Global Mapper training schedule for 2018 and, as in previous years, it kicks off with a three-day course at the company’s headquarters in Hallowell Maine.

Scheduled for the last week in January, the course is comprised of two days of hands-on instruction on the key components of Global Mapper with an optional third day dedicated to the LiDAR Module and covering all aspects of point cloud processing.

Following a series of simulated, real-world scenarios, the two-day Global Mapper class includes digitizing and vector editing, advanced attribute management, thematic mapping, raster processing, terrain analysis, and much more. The LiDAR Module class, explores all aspects of LiDAR processing from initial data quality assurance to 3D analysis and includes point cloud visualization and editing, automatic point reclassification, feature extraction, as well as the recently released Pixels-to-Points tool for photogrammetric point cloud generation.

All attendees who successfully complete both the Global Mapper and LiDAR Module classes will be issued an official certificate of completion and will be recognized as Certified Global Mapper users.

Date: January 23-25, 2018

Time: 8am-5pm

Location: Hallowell, ME
