Good Afternoon All,

Because of the outpouring of support from all of you and others on behalf of MeGIS and the GeoLibrary it looks like the unintended elimination of funding of the FY18 and 19 budget will be addressed in a special emergency session to be held in late September or early October of this year.

 

GeoLibrary board members and other interested parties have met with legislative leaders to emphasize the importance of the office and its support of GeoLibrary activities. The feedback from these meetings has been positive so far.

 

We will keep you posted regarding progress of the emergency session and other developments as they happen.
