This class is open to anyone interested in learning about, and working 
with spatial data using Blue Marble Geographic's software program, 
/*Global Mapper*/. This workshop is relevant for land surveyors, 
engineers, architects, tax assessors, town planners, foresters, and 
other users and producers of spatial data. Topics covered include:

  * datums and geodetic reference frames
  * map projections
  * web mapping services
  * online spatial data sources
  * surveyed data
  * spatial data previously not georeferenced
  * lidar
  * surface modeling
  * contours, watersheds and viewsheds


Blue Marble Geographics is making Global Mapper available to learners at
