It's time again to elect members for the University College at Ellsworth Student Association!

What is Student Association?

The Student Association (SA) is made up of members of the student community who are attending classes through UC Ellsworth elected to oversee the spending of student activity funds.  The SA is responsible for the coffee, tea, and cocoa made available to students daily, as well as the snacks offered during midterm and finals’ weeks. The SA arranges for special workshops, tickets to events, guest speakers, student trips and student gatherings.

What is Expected?

Student Association meetings are usually every other week for one hour.  The day and time of meetings is decided by the SA members at the beginning of each semester.   Student Association members are expected to attend meetings, and participate in planning and carrying out activities.  For example, SA sponsors an Angel Tree every year for children of students.  SA members help organize and wrap the gifts donated.  SA members come to New Student Orientation to help welcome new students.  A description of duties is attached for students who want to run for an office.
