Hello Everyone,

We have 2 new FREE programs for kids/teens starting soon at the Orono Public Library.  To register for either, please call or email me or Louise ([log in to unmask]).  Here's what you need to know:

4H-STEM Crazy 8s Math Club:

6 week session for 3rd-5th graders.  Meets Mondays, 3:30-4:30pm beginning March 20 and ending May 1, skipping April 17.  Run by 2 enthusiastic UMaine 4H-STEM Ambassadors, program will feature hands on, collaborative, fun math activities to get kids fired up about math.  Registration is limited to 15 students, there are only a few open spots left.

Healthy Eating Nutrition Activities for Teens:

Meets 5 Tuesdays starting March 28 from 3:30-4:30pm (April 18 meeting will be in the evening).  UMaine Nutrition students will present nutrition info, run cooking demonstrations and involve teens in preparing and eating healthy foods.  Open to 6th graders and up.  Space is limited so sign up soon!
