Good Morning All,

This is written on behalf of the GeoLibrary Board.

Senator Tom Saviello has sponsored a bond request ( LR 1406 ) from the GeoLibrary Board for geospatial data acquisition.

To make this a reality the Board needs your assistance. We all know that the Boards Data Catalog supported by MEGIS is used extensively by folks like you every day in support of your work. The Board has not received any legislative support for data acquisition since the first bond authorized in 2003. Consequently it has struggled to maintain and update the states geospatial data.

Please!! CALL-WRITE- EMAIL- the Governor and your legislative delegation !!TODAY!!! asking them to cosponsor and support this LR1406 as an investment in Maine’s Economy!

Tell them how Board programs and data save you money, support your work, save you time, and how it contributes to a better more efficient community.

Please do it today your support is crucial to making funding available for data acquisition.

Have a terrific Thursday!!

Joe
