Senator Tom Saviello has sponsored a bond request ( LR 1406 ) from the GeoLibrary Board for geospatial data acquisition.
To make this a reality the Board needs your assistance. We all know that the Boards Data Catalog supported by MEGIS is used extensively by folks like you every day in support of your work. The Board has not received any legislative support
for data acquisition since the first bond authorized in 2003. Consequently it has struggled to maintain and update the states geospatial data.

LR1406 as an investment in Maine’s Economy!
