Re:	Deadline for Maine Science Festival Proposals Extended to Monday, December 19, 2016!

While many may be focused on counting down to the end of the semester or the number of shopping days left in the season, I write to share that there are just 96 days left before the March 16, 2017, opening of the Maine Science Festival in Bangor!

More to the point and the reason for this message is to inform you that the deadline for submitting an Intent to Present <http://www.mainesciencefestival.org/intent-to-present/> proposal has been extended beyond the end of the semester and the last day of final exams to give members of the University of Maine System Faculty more time to consider being a part of this important education and engagement initiative.

You now have until the end of the day on Monday, December 19th to consider the opportunity and to use the online tools to submit a proposal at this link:

Thank you taking the time during this busy time of year to consider this opportunity to be a part of the Maine Science Festival. Please feel free to contact Kate Dickerson, Director of the Maine Science Festival with any questions or feedback at [log in to unmask] <mailto:[log in to unmask]> or by phone at 207-262-2700.

Best,
