October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month and in recognition the Student Association is sponsoring two activities:

1)      A DONATION DRIVE for clients of The Next Step Domestic Violence Project.  There will be a box in the front lobby for donations.  Items needed are: Baby shampoo, shampoo, diapers, feminine hygiene products, soap, deodorant, Play-Doh, stress-relieving toys, books – new or barely used, stuffed animals – new or barely used. 

2)      Kelly Brown from the Next Step Domestic Violence Project will be at Ellsworth on Thursday, October 20^th, from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM for a LUNCH AND LEARN presentation about Domestic Violence. THE STUDENT ASSOCIATION WILL BE PROVIDING LUNCH.   Please RSVP so we have enough food.  You can call 667-3897, send an email to [log in to unmask] or stop by the front desk at the Center.
