The Maine GIS User’s Group is pleased to announce our Fall Conference and Annual Meeting on Friday September 23rd at the Hutchinson Center in Belfast.

We would like to hear from the membership regarding ideas for training that you would be interested in.  We will use this survey to help guide the talks at the fall meeting and future events.  To that end, please take a few minutes to fill out the following survey by June 27:

Call for Workshops/Talks

We are looking for a series of workshops or talks which provide users with new skills.  The format for talks for our Fall meeting are longer workshops.  Talks should be 2 hours and 15 minutes in length.  We are also happy to entertain shorter talks, which can be combined to from a complete block.  All talks should be interactive and allow time for question and answer and/or discussion.  

If you have a talk idea that fits a topic in the survey or you have some other idea you think would appeal to our membership please submit your idea to the Vice Chair of MEGUG as soon as possible at [log in to unmask].  

We are also looking for sponsors or exhibitors so if your organization or company is interested in exhibiting let us know as well.  We have three sponsorship levels available Sponsor:  $150 for a booth exhibit, Snack sponsor:  $200, and Lobster Bake Sponsor for $500.  Snack and Lobster sponsorships include recognition at the event and logo in all our promotions.  Lobster Sponsorship also includes 5 mins to speak to all guests.
